Watch this amazing pickleball rally from the 2016 USAPA Nationals
One way to improve your pickleball game is by watching other people play. In this video Wes Gabrielsen and Kyle Yates battle against Matt Staub and Daniel Moore. This is a fast paced point and you may want to watch it through a couple times but this pickleball rally has it all! Players alternate between calculated dinks and lightning fast volleys all trying to get a competitive advantage. One thing to note in this is that even with all these great shots it is an unforced error that loses the point.
Unforced Errors Cost A Lot of Pickleball Rally Points
There are so many skills and great shots on display here that pickleballers of all can learn from this rally. If you are new the game one takeaway that you should have that the point was won on an unforced error. Keeping the ball “IN” play is important. You may not have the power or fenesse that is on display here but as you get better…KEEP THE BALL IN PLAY and let your opponent make the error.
